AI Citation Planner
Plan which sources to earn citations from first, scored by how often assistants cite them against how hard they are to land.
List the sources you could realistically earn a mention on, then rate each one from 1 to 5.
Cited: how often assistants already cite this source for your topic — use the AI Citation Source Radar to find out. Fit: how well its audience matches your buyer. Hard: how difficult a placement is to earn.
Why prioritise at all
Assistants do not cite the whole web evenly. For any given topic a small set of sources gets reached for again and again. Earning a mention on one of those is worth more than a dozen mentions elsewhere — and the list is different for every topic.
How the score works
Citation frequency is weighted heaviest, audience fit next, and difficulty is inverted so an easy, frequently-cited, well-matched source rises to the top. It is a prioritisation heuristic, not a measurement.
What this will not do
- It will not tell you to buy placements. Paid links and paid mentions on review sites are a different game with different risks.
- It will not replace judgement about whether you genuinely belong on a list. Earning a place you do not deserve does not survive scrutiny.
